Printing the UL Mark – Authorized UL Label Supplier Program (PGAA)
Labels with UL marks may include:
- Type R Labels – for product types that have a UL mark and use a control number.
- Type L Labels – labels that use the UL mark with an issue number that is supplied to the client by UL.

As an authorized UL label manufacturer, RTL is authorized to print the UL mark and is subject to quarterly audits by UL field representatives.
Type R and Type L labels must meet specific guidelines and require both the client and the label manufacturer to have documented information from UL on file before the label can be printed.
